We are currently looking for a Home Health Aide to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing personal care services to patients in their home or alternate community setting.
1. Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
2. Provides personal care services as established in the plan of care
3. Assists patients with mobilization and rehabilitation
4. Communicates with patients and their families on a regular basis
5. Submits required documentation as per agency policy and procedures
6. Ensures compliance of agency infection control and safety policies
7. Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
8. Other duties as assigned
1. Home Health Aide certification required
2. High School Diploma/GED preferred
3. Strong communication and organizational skills
4. Car and a valid driver's license
5. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions/Physical Demand : Working indoors with client/customer contact; use of specific equipment as braces, bedpan, crutches, electrical bed, hoyer lift, personal automobile, walker, wheelchair, household appliances, vacuum cleaner etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
