Engineer

Basic Function
Provide the necessary engineering expertise to identify, plan, design, coordinate, implement and manage multiple construction projects associated with natural gas distribution, transmission or regulator station facilities. Manage the project scope, schedule, budgets and subcontractors.
Major Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, timely and complete engineering designs, work order documentation and cost estimates; including construction drawings depicting proposed and completed changes in the natural gas system. Monitor and regularly report on operational and financial status of projects.
Conduct effective evaluations of project sites in order to develop an understanding of actual field conditions and the possible effect they may have on system design and construction. Attend meetings with government agencies, customers and other companies to coordinate work as required.
Ensure design and construction activities comply with all federal and state regulations and company standards while providing safe, reliable and efficient delivery of gas service.
Evaluate the effects proposed new business customers may have on the existing transmission and distribution system, recommend necessary reinforcements to assure adequate system capacity and pressure, specify meter set requirements.
Design new distribution systems to provide adequate supply of natural gas to new customers; including developments and commercial accounts. Create detailed meter sets for large volume commercial and industrial customers which require elevated delivery pressure in a safe, yet economical manner.
Position Specifications
Four-year engineering degree required; civil or mechanical concentration preferred. Excellent organization, collaboration, negotiation and communication. Applicant must be detail-oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Project. Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
