Project Engineer - Clean Energy Ventures

New Jersey Resources is seeking a Project Engineer for Clean Energy Ventures to lead the review of electrical design and specification development for various commercial and residential solar and wind power projects. Provide oversight of construction and implementation of multiple projects in execution of the NJR Clean Energy Ventures (NJRCEV) project plan.
Major Accountabilities
Review and provide feedback for electrical design and vendor drawings; insure projects are built according to requirements
Conduct field inspections, including the interpretation and implementation of contract specifications, note deficiencies and follow up with
contractor to effect remediation
Evaluate electrical calculations including short circuit, cable and conduit sizing, grounding, voltage drop, arc flash, relay settings and
Assist in construction management of commercial solar and wind projects to insure projects are installed in accordance with the contract, design
drawings and company standards
Attend factory witness testing for electrical equipment
Oversee the commissioning and testing program for new commercial solar and wind projects
Position Specifications
Requires Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering plus eight years of experience working with an engineering design or construction management firm with an emphasis in electrical power system design. Experience in commercial solar and commercial wind projects preferred. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and electrical standards. Knowledge of design and procurement of electrical equipment, including medium voltage switchgear, generators, inverters and step-up transformers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and effective communication skills required. Sufficient mobility for construction sites including ability to access rooftops and other structures. Up to 35 percent travel required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
