Transportation Analyst I

New Jersey Resources is seeking a Transportation Analyst to ensure all NJR Energy Services natural gas purchases and sells are nominated on all pipelines, storages and with all counterparties on a timely basis. Accurately track all nomination and natural gas flows in our gas management system. Monitor capacity utilization to ensure the most efficient load factor possible. Comply with all regulations and internal policies.
Major Responsibilities:
Supply information on natural gas market and sales flows, open capacity and monthly imbalances, as well as current and upcoming restrictions and new business opportunities.
Ensure that all pipeline bulletin boards are being reviewed daily. Discuss any constraints for current day, current month and upcoming month. Should fully understand how these constraints can impact your scheduling and any other interconnecting pipelines.
Complete all nominations before the pipeline deadlines and notify all supplies/markets of all point and contract changes.
Nominate all fuel management contracts at various local distribution companies and keep track of parked volumes and all imbalances.
Alternate on-call to monitor all contracts and potential issues that arise over the weekend and at night.
Education and Experience
Knowledge of the natural gas industry is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics or other related field and 0-2 years of experience are required. Strong personal computer and analytical skills are essential. Must be willing to have a flexible schedule as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
