Accounts Payable/Bookkeeper - Automotive Experience Required

Starting Pay: $14/hr

Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
Input inventory into the accounting system
Send copies of invoices to customers
Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
Research invoice discrepancies
Prepare daily bank deposit
Input credit card info in the accounting system daily
Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Disburse and monitor petty cash
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Qualifications
Experience as an Accounts Receivable/Payable clerk in a dealership
CDK experience is a plus
Experience with Excel – basic level
Proven track record
Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
