Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will focus on coordinating and improving the processes around budgeting, forecasting and reporting and analysis. Forecasts and analyzes the Company's P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements, and develops target models at the business level. Works with our EPM software to create, distribute and analyze internal reports and KPIs.
Work with Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, business units and Financial Planning and Analysis analysts to lead the annual five year planning calendar and process. Build, critique, present and finalize.
Manage the consolidated monthly reporting packages including variance analysis, KPI reporting and management reporting.
Build and maintain strong relationships and connections between our Financial Planning and Analysis team and the supported business units.
Coordinate capital expenditure planning and reporting across the organization.
Develop a thorough understanding of business drivers and KPIs and implement dashboards and reports to provide visibility into status of KPIs.
Perform a periodic variance analysis of budgeted, forecasted and actual financial performance, clearly interpreting and documenting variance drivers.
Identify risks and opportunities by understanding the trends and analyzing variances in the reporting.
Take an active role in further developing Financial Reporting and Analysis policies and procedures, producing high quality documentation as needed.
Execute ad-hoc financial and quantitative analysis and various reporting requests in support of business units and executives.
Leverage information systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness of forecasting and analysis.
Position Specifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or MBA is a plus. Must have 7 to 10 years of progressive financial experience, to include budget and forecast preparation, maintenance, variance analysis and management. Requires 3 to 5 years of management experience. Previous utility experience is a plus. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, while proving insight and clarity around financial results and forecasts to a variety of stakeholders throughout the organization. Requires extensive work experience with EPM software, superior Excel skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects at once and work in a team environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
