Manager of Revenue Requirement

Basic Function:
This position is responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term regulatory strategies designed to ensure the Company has adequate revenue generated by its regulated rates. This function must also represent the Company and its customers before proceedings established by the NJ Board of Public Utilities.
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and implement regulatory filings and initiatives consistent with the company's Commitment to Stakeholders
Manage filings/projects to achieve organizational and personal accomplishments
Testify as an expert witness in regulatory proceedings
Participate as a member of the internal Financial Reporting Committee
Prepare the submission of monthly and quarterly reports to the BPU
Provide internal implementation guidance associated with BPU Orders
Prepare and provide analytical support for special projects
Prepare responses to ad hoc BPU and Rate Counsel inquiries
Prepare supporting documentation for BPU Audit inquiries
Monitor current regulatory and financial trends in the energy industry
Provide/coordinate timely internal communications
Position Specifications:
Undergraduate and/or graduate degree
At least 7 years Utility industry experience in finance, accounting, regulation and analytical functions
Financial Planning certification a plus
Project management experience
Must possess ability to analyze regulatory issues/matters and work with internal and external counsel in drafting necessary legal and compliance documentation as needed.
Must be able to anticipate potential regulatory issues and seek creative/innovative and defensible resolutions
Ability to apply prudent decision making principles that can withstand regulatory or adversarial scrutiny
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization including experience working with senior management, as well as maintain close liaison with external regulatory agencies
Strong analytical ability
Attention to details, responsiveness and good judgment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
