Level One Desktop Support

job summary:

Our client has an open long term consulting role for a Level 1 Desktop Support Professional:

Responsibility for providing front line support of the desktop environment including desktops, laptops, printers. Window 7 and 10 experience as well as Office 365 support experience. Day shift 830am to 5pm

  • Responsibility for providing technical support for the corporate users in Central NJ location, including infrastructure, services and support in conjunction with the Americas IT support team.

  • Provide end-user support for the desktop environment for users in the corporate offices to include and including desktops, laptops, printers , mobile devices and retail POS hardware

  • Provide end-user support for all mobile, remote and laptop users within the targets specified in the IT Helpdesk model

  • Provide coverage for the IT Help Desk as specified in the IT support model

  • Provide support to the IT project initiatives (both local and global) and share expertise with other members of the global IT team as required

  • Follow IT Policies and Procedures including the local Helpdesk support

  • Desktop process management to the agreed processes

  • Helpdesk service support performed to the standards and metrics specified

  • Systems availability for supported systems better or equal to required standards

  • Driven & Delivery Focused Individual

  • Discreet & diplomatic with the ability to handle sensitive information

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

  • IT Qualified professional with Infrastructure experience preferred

  • 2+ years IT Infrastructure general experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
