This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to be a part of a company with leading brands celebrating 50 years of service.  Each day, educators are looking for solutions to meet the needs of all the students they serve.  As education standards and classroom instruction continue to evolve, the search becomes increasingly difficult.  To meet the ever-changing instructional needs of every student and classroom, School Specialty provides a wide selection of carefully curated, educational products to address subjects such as Common Core, Math, Reading and writing and more.  Our innovative products and curriculum solutions are well established and positioned in the market, serving Pre-K through 12th grade students and educators, and for you to build a rewarding career with strong earning potential.  The I&I Category Sales Specialist is responsible for focusing on customer needs in the Instructional Solutions community to increase market share through individual and team selling activities.  You will provide strategic direction on customer behavior and trends within the marketplace.  In this role, you'll collaborate with the team to maximize sales thru your understanding of market conditions and trends, competitor offerings and product knowledge.  You will be responsible for product training, implementation and professional development that support the strategic vision and company goals.  Role requires a solid foundation of understanding funding opportunities and standards alignment.  You will continuously improve your capabilities by upgrading skills and product knowledge. Minimum requirements Bachelor's Degree in Education or similar discipline 3-5 years' experience in Curriculum and Instruction Teacher or Administrator experience in a public-school setting a plus Acceptable driving record, valid driver's license and insurance Must have Salesforce.com experience Candidates must be able to travel up to 75% of the time and may include overnight and weekend travel. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
